Daisy Day took place on March 20 at Clear Lake High School. It is an annual event for the school that consists of clubs selling different foods and treats along with games and raffles for the student’s tickets. Students are to pay money for tickets at one of the booths in the hallways, and then use those tickets to buy any food or play games and participate in raffle drawings. This event helps raise money for all the clubs and organizations.
During lunch, the halls were crowded and busy, full of students walking throughout, looking at all the different types of booths that the clubs had to offer. Foods that were sold ranged from Raising Canes and Chick Fil A to snow cones and pizza slices.
Kids were having fun with bean bag tosses, turtle races, and fish ball along with many more. Some of the raffles consisted of Beat headphones, baskets of treats, and gift cards.
Not only did the students participate in this event, the administrations and teachers also were a part of the event. Daisy Day was canceled last year because of the construction, but the high school was able to have it this year in the new building.
Overall, the school’s Daisy Day of 2019 started up the tradition again.
