Teens on the Town: Top 5 Entertainment Spots in Clear Lake

Are you and your friends bored and clueless on what to do? Go check out one of these five places!

 

Baybrook Mall 

The Baybrook Mall has a large variety of entertaining things for teens to do. From shopping to fine dining, the mall has it all! The outside portion features many stores and nice restaurants, and a Dave & Busters for classic arcade fun! Head inside to find cheaper food options in the food court and lots of stores and kiosks. On their website, you can find a list of the businesses they have. On Sunday they also host a farmer’s market on the turf in the outer section.

Funcity Sk8

Funcity Sk8 is a roller-skating rink located off of Texas Avenue. They offer skating, laser tag, bounce houses, an arcade and a snack bar. Funcity is a great place to meet up with your friends and hang out, and lots of Lake students work there too! You can book birthday parties, private parties and group parties using their website or by calling. On their website, you can check for upcoming deals and events.

Bowlero 

Located off of Bay Area behind Angelo’s Pizza and Pasta, Bowlero has lots of fun features, including 40 bowling lanes, billiards, an arcade, air hockey, a lounge area and free Wi-Fi! If you’re going to bowl on the weekend it’s recommended to book a lane, because they fill up fast. Bowlero offers booking in advance for teen parties and social events. Bowlero also has exclusive deals on different days of the week.

Main Event

Main Event has lots of great deals for lots of fun! Main Event has great food, tv sports, laser tag, bowling, billiards, karaoke and LOTS of games! They offer a Monday Madness deal which includes all you can play games and activities after 4pm for $11.99, kids eat free Tuesdays, and you can get $7 play all day activities on Tuesdays when the cowboys score seven points. They also offer booking for events and parties for larger groups.

Top Golf 

Top Golf has three floors and a rooftop terrace with fire pits. They have a restaurant and over 100 all-weather bays to golf from. These bays are equipped with tvs and from them you try to golf balls into targets out on the field. You can bring your own golf clubs or use their complementary ones. They offer a variety of different games to play and you can read about each.
