After leaving viewers in suspense and anticipation for two going on three years, Netflix is finally releasing season four of its original show Stranger Things.
This season will take characters outside of the confines that is Hawkins Indiana. Elle (Millie Bobby Brown), Will Byers (Noah Schnapp), Jonathan, and Joyce will be set in California, while the rest of the Friend group remains in Hawkins. Meanwhile, Hopper is stuck in Soviet Russia.
The show is set to take place six months after the previous season. It will follow how the main characters have been and how they are still adjusting to their new lives.
Meanwhile supernatural threats grow stronger and more dangerous than viewers have ever seen before.
All main characters such as El, Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard), Lucas Sinclair (Caleb McLaughlin), Will Byers (Noah Schnapp), Dustin Henderson (Gaten Matarazzo), Max Mayfield (Saddie Sink), Nancy Wheeler (Natalie Dyer), Jonathan Byers (Charlie Heaton), Steve Harrington (Joe Keery), Robin (Maya Hawke), Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder) and fan favorite Jim Hopper (David Harbour), are all confirmed to be returning.
According to the Duffer brothers’ season four is not the end they have in mind for the Stranger Things franchise. The brothers plan to create season five to wrap up the series and give it the ending that the show and the fans deserve.
Season four of Stranger Things is being released, by being broken into two parts that will be released at separate times. The first half will be released on Netflix on May 27 and the second on July 1 of this year.
