DogeCoin to Begin its Own Festival

Dogepalooza, a music festival, is coming to Houston on April 23. The festival will hold entertainment, vendors, food and beverages. It will also showcase NFTs and other new technologies.

The festival celebrates DogeCoin, a cryptocurrency that’s like Bitcoin or Ethereum.

Dogepalooza was first introduced in 2021, but because of covid the festival had to be delayed. Now. It’s important to note that Dogecoin isn’t affiliated with Dogepalooza. The festival is a community of people who are fans of the Ecoin.

Doge is a meme created almost 8 years ago. Now it’s $22 billion asset.

DogeCoin said to be, “the future currency of Earth, Mars, and beyond,” was released on Dec. 6, 2013 as a “joke”. Since then, Elon Musk, Snoop Dogg, Mark Cuban and other famous celebrities have supported the now valued $8 million cryptocurrency.

The Cryptocurrency or “meme coin” has fundraised Olympic teams, charities to build wells in Africa and professional drivers competing in Nascar Sprint Cup Series.

Now the meme coin has its own festival that welcomes people vendors and sponsors. It promises to help give back to community businesses and charities.

Dogepalooza will donate to charities like American Cancer Society, Disabled American Veterans, Cerebral Palsy Foundation and other charities. One can donate with PayPal or Dogecoins at www.dogepalooza.com/donate-to-the-cause/.

Dionne Warwick, a singer, will be headlining the festival. She has over 3 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

Tickets will cost $65 for general admission, $25.00 for kids four to twelve, and free for kids three and younger. There is also VIP tickets that will give a VIP area for $150.

Dogepalooza has its own Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, and Discord. The social medias post daily news about the upcoming festival.

The festival hopes from this event hopes to garner greater media attention, host events globally and become an international household name.

The festival already has hundreds of volunteers, sponsors, artists, articles, a podcast and even a radio show called “DogeRadio” hosted by DjDoge69.
