Criminal Minds Review

Gabi Cuellar, Reporter

Criminal Minds is a 15-season crime and drama tv show. The show first aired in 2005 on the CBS
network and ran until 2020. After ending during the pandemic, the show is now getting resurrected for
one final season.

The show is about a team of FBI profilers. Their jobs are to create a personality profile based on the
information from crime scenes in order to help find, catch and stop serial killers before they do more
damage than they already have. While the show revolves around crime and the steps these profilers
take to end it, the show isn’t just all action and no heart. While there is plenty of action there are also
heartfelt moments, tragic moments and lovable characters that are cherished.

The new season of Criminal Minds will be debuting on Paramount+ for 10 episodes. No further seasons
have been confirmed. Although not all of the old cast members are confirmed to return yet, some
known and beloved characters will be returning to the screen. These include agent David Rossi (Joe
Mantegna), Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness), Tara Lewis (Aisha Tyler), JJ Jareau (A.J. Cook), Emily
Prentis (Paget Brewster) and more. This season the team will be fighting against a group of serial killers
that rose up during the crisis of the pandemic.
